Refund & Return Policy

At DEJJEM, each piece is produced with care, intention and in small quantities. We want you to feel confident in your purchase and supported if something is not right.

This policy applies to purchases made through dejjem.com.au.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a remedy if your item has a major or minor problem, including where the item is faulty, not of acceptable quality, not fit for its intended purpose, or does not match the description provided.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If you believe your item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@dejjem.com.au with:

  • your order number

  • a clear description of the issue

  • photos of the item and packaging, where relevant

Once assessed, we will offer an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the issue, this may include a repair, replacement, refund or other suitable solution.

Items that are damaged through normal wear and tear, misuse, incorrect care, accidental damage, or failure to follow garment care instructions may not be considered faulty.

Change-of-mind returns

We may accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • unworn, unused and unwashed

  • in original condition

  • returned with all tags, labels and packaging intact

  • free from marks, makeup, perfume, deodorant, odours or damage

Change-of-mind returns are subject to approval. For approved change-of-mind returns, we will issue a store credit or exchange once the item has been received and inspected.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns, and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be offered where stock is available. As DEJJEM pieces are produced in small runs, we cannot guarantee that another size or style will be available.

If your preferred exchange item is unavailable, we may offer store credit instead.

Sale items

Sale items may be returned for a remedy if they fail to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.

However, sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, exchanges or store credit unless otherwise approved by DEJJEM.

Pre-order and made-to-order items

Pre-order and made-to-order items are produced or reserved especially for you. These items are not eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or return unless the item fails to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.

Estimated delivery timeframes for pre-order items are provided as a guide only. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you updated if delays occur.

How to request a return

To request a return, please email hello@dejjem.com.au within the relevant return period with your order number and reason for return.

Please do not send your item back without first contacting us. Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.

Once your return is approved, we will provide return instructions. We recommend using a trackable postage service, as DEJJEM is not responsible for returned items lost in transit.

Refund processing

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

Return condition

Returned items are inspected on arrival. If an item is not returned in its original condition, or shows signs of wear, washing, damage, marks, scent or alteration, we may refuse the return and send the item back to you.
